Inchara GreenHands Celebrates World Soil Day & World Water Day with Sarada Niketan College for Women, Karur.
On March 22, 2025, Inchara GreenHands proudly collaborated with Sarada Niketan College for Women, Karur, Tamil Nadu, to celebrate World Water Day—a day that reminds us how soil and water are the foundation of life on Earth. With a vision of creating a greener and more sustainable future, we gifted and planted 100 saplings, transforming the campus into a mini agroforestry with a mix of timber and fruit trees.
Women Leading the Way in Environmental Action:
The event held special significance as all the students come from farming backgrounds. At Inchara GreenHands, we empower women in environmental stewardship by equipping them with knowledge, awareness, and hands-on experience to become change makers in their communities.
The students were encouraged to adopt simple yet impactful measures such as:
✅ Harvesting rainwater to replenish groundwater
✅ Reducing water wastage in daily activities
✅ Practicing organic farming to prevent soil and water pollution
✅ Planting more trees to enhance water retention in the soil
✅ Spreading awareness in their families and villages
